Join Quiddity as we explore "Killing Sparrows," a short story from Chicago author Gary Buslik, originally published by SSA. "Killing Sparrows" focuses on a married couple at war with more than just the sparrows in their yard. The childless couple begins the sparrow vendetta after a pair of the birds murder a purple martin family the husband and wife had attracted to their yard. After spending seven years in their home, six of those years without any additional nesting martins, the wife draws up plans for a mass sparrow electrocution device
